01Can a foreigner own and manage a Bulgarian company?
Yes. Bulgarian company law does not restrict owners or managers by nationality. Documents signed abroad need notarisation and an apostille or legalisation, plus a Bulgarian translation.
02Can I do everything online?
Almost. Document preparation and filing with the Commercial Register are remote. The manager's signature is usually certified by a notary, and the capital is paid into a Bulgarian bank, which often requires an in-person visit.
03What is the minimum capital?
EUR 1 for an EOOD or OOD. In practice, a realistic capital helps with banks and partners.
04Does registering a company give me the right to live in Bulgaria?
No. Company registration and residence or work permits are separate procedures.
05Do I need a Bulgarian address?
Yes. Every company registers a seat and address of management in Bulgaria. We can arrange a registered address if you do not have one.
